Unlike the guillotine, which is history, hanging is not. It remains the primary execution method in Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kuwait, Singapore, and South Sudan. We designed these as Halloween pieces. We also think it's worth saying plainly that this is still happening to real people, and that we don't think it should be.
